What’s described as Scotland’s first charity devoted to offering below 16s with abilities in digital expertise has been launched.

The Digital Xtra Fund’s targets embrace encouraging extra ladies to take science, expertise, engineering and maths topics in school.

Earlier than reaching charitable standing, the scheme ran workshops at schools across Scotland last year.

It has obtained some preliminary funding from public our bodies.
