Dreyfus had been resulting from play Paul reverse Samantha Bond’s Alice

Actor James Dreyfus has pulled out of a London play on medical recommendation.

The Gimme Gimme Gimme star had been resulting from star as Samantha Bond’s husband in The Lie by France’s Florian Zeller.

His function on the Menier Chocolate Manufacturing unit in south London will now be performed by Alexander Hanson, Bond’s real-life husband.

The play was resulting from start its run this week however is prone to have a few of its preview performances cancelled. Ticket holders will probably be notified.

Hanson was beforehand seen on the Menier in The Fact, one other Zeller play. The Lie is a companion piece to that 2011 work.

Dreyfus’s departure comes within the wake of one other exit from a high-profile London manufacturing, once more on medical recommendation.

Sarah Lancashire had been resulting from seem reverse Martin Freeman in Labour of Love, a play about divisions inside the Labour Occasion.

Her function will as an alternative be performed by Tamsin Greig when James Graham’s drama opens on the Noel Coward theatre on the finish of September.
